Yesterday evening author Alethea Kontis made a surprise guest appearance at the Washington Science Fiction Association meeting. She is in town for the NoVaTEEN Book Festival today (March 7, 2015).

After the meeting she gave a reading of a lovely essay about her friendship with author Andre Norton, and talked about Dearest, her latest book in the Woodcutter series.
