A little plug here for Capclave, a local science fiction convention. It’s run by the Washington, DC Science Fiction Association (WSFA), a club that pretty much all of us at Fast Forward have been involved with in one way or another. Held in Gaithersburg, MD, Capclave is happening October 6-8, 2017, and features guests of honor Neil Clarke and Ken Liu.

It’s a relaxed and fun convention with programming and workshops, vendors of books and other fun SF and fantasy items, gaming, a silent auction, late night filking, lots of local authors, and the awards ceremony for the WSFA Small Press Award.
At Fast Forward we’re excited about this year’s guests of honor! We’re still trying to see if we can get interviews with them.
