After a rather long hiatus, we’re back! The interview from episode #293 of Fast Forward: Contemporary Science Fiction is finally available to view online! In this interview, author Sarah Beth Durst talks about her novel The Queen of Blood, the first volume in her Queens of Renthia series. She discusses how she came up with the idea of Renthia, a world full of bloodthirsty nature spirits, and how her characters deal with that dangerous world. She also talks about the use of themes and characters in general fiction versus “young adult” fiction.
