J. K. Klein was a fixture around science fiction conventions for decades, taking thousands of photos of people and events. The University of California, Riverside is now the home of the Klein photo collection.
As part of a pilot project, the curators have digitized approximately 6000 of Klein’s photos taken at Worldcons of the 1960s and 1970s and made them available online here: https://calisphere.org/collections/26943/
Many people in the photos have not been properly identified, so the university has created a form that allows the public to submit information about the images. It’s a great crowdsourcing project, so if you think you can contribute, have at it!
