Our Balticon 50 road trip report

WSFA Small Press Award nomination period is still open!

The Washington Science Fiction Association Small Press Award is given to an original short fiction work (17,500 words or fewer) of imaginative literature (e.g., science fiction, fantasy, horror, speculative fiction or like literature) published by a small press.

An Evening with Neil Gaiman In Washington, DC

At the last minute, a friend provided me with a ticket to see Neil Gaiman at DAR Constitution Hall. This was a pleasant surprise, and it turned out to be a very fun evening. I’ve always enjoyed Mr. Gaiman’s work, and he is extremely witty and charming in person. The man is a born storyteller, and last night’s event brought that home to me yet again.
